George Mitchell just stated that some baseball players which are not using steriods said that the players using steriods are taking their places on the field. Boy does this sound familiar in regards to appraising. Appraisers that pumped up the numbers are taking our places in the appraising world.

I can't even read 19 pages on the forum, much less a 409 page report. Are Al Kaline, Roberto Clemente or Willie McCovey named in the report?

Latest news is that all teams have players who are mentioned.

Ala Senator Dodd, the way to solve the steroid problem is to
have baseball players put up a 1% bond based on their
salaries. If a player on the team is found to be using
steroids, the player, coaches, manager, team owner,
ball boy/girl would have to pony up.

As expected, the Pirates only have one, and he pretty much stunk. Guess steroid use doesn't always guarantee results.

Don't know about the ballplayers, but

I heard that at least half of senior management at the Appraisal Institute are using.
