A bunch of folks have been swindled in a land fraud. Arkansas was slow on the uptake & the perpetrator is selling Real Estate in Mexico now.
I recall looking at a land deed once and in the fine print, it make the statement that the deed was encumbered by a mortgage held by a Chicago Bank on the whole resort. I wouldn't buy into one of those "resort" land scams for luv ner mony...
