Can I import neighborhood info from an existing report creating a new template and if so, how? I've tried opening an existing report for "X'" neighborhood then saved as a template titled "X" neighborhhood. I then have to reopen and edit the template by deleting the rest of the info. I'm thinking there's got to be a faster way.

Instead of cloning the entire report, start a new report, then selectively import sections or discrete fields from an existing report/reports by going to Edit, then Extract, then selecting which ever suits your needs!

hope this helps!

The best way I found is to get a blank or existing report edit it the way you want then go to file save as and chose template.
then name it and next time open blank from template.

Also are you using pick lists / common responces they can save you a lot of time. I have any where up to 5-10 different paragraphs pre typed to drop into a every different field in the report perhaps a little editing here and there but a big time savings.

I would say spend the time get a good template. It will always be changing it as new rules and new ideas hit however it is going to save you in the long run.

Just my thought.

Loads of help. Thanks. Hopefully in time I will be able make my mother proud by giving more than I receive.
