Not true, HVCC will allow direct lenders, banks and thrifts to order appraisals, yes many will use AMCs but not all, also marketing to Attorneys, Financial Planners and for tax purposes will be alive, dont give up HVCC will be a tuffy fo the first 6 months but will most likely be a different animal in a year or two, nobody really knows how the HVCC will be implemented and many will go AMC, but even that may be ok, you can market to the AMCs....:))) lol

The sky is falling, the sky is falling
This phrase was used over and over by some appraisers when other appraisers were warning about the housing bubble. They are not using it anymore, I wonder why?

Marketing is over if you gave up...I think anyone that has adopted this mindset, either is too shallow (skill set wise) to go beyond mortgage work or was not really in this for the long haul.

Either way, please step aside to complain on the sidelines so that the career professionals can work.

Major Dittos. With that mind set, you will get exactly what you want... the subconscious is extremely powerful, and it doesn't know sarcasm.
