The new 7 hour USPAP course has an exam...CE question

Various states differ regarding distance education for continuing education requirements. I believe that most states allow distance education for CE credit but not for qualification credit. Because the new USPAP course (starting in 2003) will have an examination attached, will your state accept the new USPAP course for CE?

I realize that not everyone can get to a class room setting (like that guy up there in Nome) but in general, what is your opinion about acceptance of a distance education course that includes an exam?

Would we be setting ourselves up for yet another area of potential fraud?

At the present time, class room attendance is required for USPAP credit in Colorado.
