Hey Boys and Girls, Ladies and Gents, Kids,

This has been brought to my attention by another forum member. Good person in my book as all of you are.

In a thread a few months back someone made a suggestion about a PAC. We needed someone to head it up. It appears that someone is now working for all of us.

We all know or should know Pam has taken quite a hit in her professional career as an appraiser for her stand up stance about what is happening in the industry.

She is right at the forefront. She is spending time and dollars pro se, free gratis, right now.

Let’s go ahead and give her a heads up to head up the pac by sending her a few dollars each, or opening up a paypal account that we can deposit funds in that she can draw from. I have no doubt about here honesty. If the pack grows and there is a lot of money in it, I am sure she would set up proper accounting procedures when the time comes. As with all of us she needs a source of income. (When she hits the one 1M mark for income I except to be hired to put my feet up on the desk and look out the penthouse office windows down at the Federal Capitol Building.)

I know for a fact first hand that she is doing what she says she is doing, but we need to show her some support and give her some money to work with. Nothing in this life is free. We all will benefit from her actions.

Maybe this thing will even grow where we have a real organization to represent all appraisers. Not just the boys in the ivory towers.

If a pay pal account is set up in the next few days I will send some bucks along and that is not Bobby Bucks. If not I will mail her a check direct.

What say you????????????? Good idea or bad idea?????? I am sure anything from $1.00 to what ever will help. Even a $1 to $25 a month from each of us would be acceptable. Just look at what we waste every day. Don’t eat one donut, give up that extra cup of coffee or that shot of Rye after dinner, give up going to one football game or drinking a couple of beers while watching football in your home theater.

I will second the fact that Pam is honest & IS working in our best intrest. I'll also say I know for a fact that what she has done, & doing, has got the attention of several in "Higher Places"

$5 from each Forum member would get her to Washington DC & other places.

I'm game. She would have to set up the PayPal account, as it will be connected to her bank account, and she can make transfers to her account whenever it's needed. Pam is really doing us a favor and is working hard to make changes. Pam, you're our hero!

I am all for an organized effort instead of each of us doing our own thing. But we need a comprehensive plan.

I think Pam has set that plan in motion. To much planning and nothing gets done. Pam is moving forward at this point. She can report back to us every week or month.

I know she is in contact with may on this board about what she is doing. Keeping those people informed of what is happening. A few of us have first hand knowledge from the fee back. (that problem has been correct, now so no one knows anyone name or location unless they want it to be known.)

As the PAC grows it can become more formal. But we have our foot in the door, we need to besure it can stay there and the door gets open even more.

I've spent time with Pam, Pam is presdistant in this endevor , she has lost a tremendous amount of revenue by doing what is right. there is no "glory" in what shes doing, just a "Good Feeling" that something WILL get accomplished. When it does, I'm betting NO Appraisers will be listed in the credits,

Ray, I'd not use PayPal. Remember the "Bring them Home" campaign? PayPay made sure to keep a goodly portion for good measure. I don't use PayPal for anything now, except buying on Ebay.

Remember that now. I stop using paypal a couple of years ago when they revese two appraisal fees. I didnot loose the money, because there was non money in the account to loose. The account still sets with a - balance. I started that after I lost the first one a couple of years before that. Stop keeping a balance in the account. More then one way to skin a cat.

There are always WIRE TRANSFERS into a regular bank account. Pam could open an account at a local bank or credit union. If you wish to contribute, send her PM or e-mail. Once she verifies if you are trustworthy she could send you the account number to wire the funds to.

I'm more concerned of the income tax ramifications (sorry, the old tax accountant in me, never far away). Nice idea though.
