I attended a hearing last week at the May NCAB meeting in Asheville, NC. The appraiser had several appraisals in question and too many violations to keep track of.
I had to leave about 4:00pm and it was clear that the hearing would be going on into the next day (Friday).

Now I was NOT there and did not see or here this but this is the story I was told by two different folks who were there on Friday.

The hearing is finished and the board comes back out after deciding the poor fellows fate.

The chairman announces that he has been found guilty and his license has been REVOKED!

Th appraiser is quite for a minute and then asks .......................................................................................................................................
.................................................................................................................................................
............................................... "for how long?".

Man, what a great story...wish I could have been there to see and hear it.

The end finally came for this repeat offender. From what I saw he got what he deserved.

Bob,

Is this the first time the NCAB revoked a license? Think I heard that so far, they had only suspended licenses?

Hurray for them this time!

Saw the same thing happen here in Texas. Appraiser got his licensed yanked, and he immediately began writing reports under his brother.

Gotta ask. Has it been published yet? Do we know who it is?

That would require to much physical work for most appraisers.
