Please be advised that we do not allow "thread bumping"! No professional forum I know allows it either.

Thread Bumping is defined as making a post to a thread for the sole purpose of moving it back up to the top of the list. It does not have to have the word "bump" in the post to be classified as thread bumping. Moderators will use their own judgement as to what posts are made simply to move a thread back to the top of the list and take action accordingly.

Thread bumping is a waste of resources and moves other threads that have legitimate posts down the list. We get 600-900 new posts PER DAY! So we do not need extra posts just to move something up and moving real posts down the list!

Believe me if people are interested they will find your thread, no need to bump it! And if a thread is so important that it needs to be at the top, then a Moderator will stick it.

Thanks for your cooperation in this matter. We have added a new rule to address thread bumping and will be giving infractions for violations.

From our rules:

5. NO THREAD BUMPING. Do not "bump" threads! Bumping of threads is defined as making a post to a thread for the sole purpose of moving it back up to the top of the list.
