Three Calif.-based lenders received subpoenas seeking documents

The subpoenas are seeking e-mails, phone bills, financial records and other information, according to the Los Angeles Times, which cited unnamed people with direct knowledge of the subpoenas in first reporting the investigation was under way.

Oh my...I am so suprised at this.....not..........And this is the tip of the iceberg.....

And you thought Florida was bad

So Cal is the worse for overvaluations. Super inflated appraisals were the norm out here. Made it real hard to run an honest business.

The banks didn't care if the appraisals were bull **** and funded garbage. Idiots.
