I have a new trainee and I've been told by the MLS she cannot get access until fully licensed??
They also stated that if she uses MY MLS I am in violation and a $3,000 fine is imposed. I asked how office staff get their MLS access, etc. How am I supposed to train someone for 1 year without their having access to MLS?? Can anyone in Arizona lend some information?

they have some kind of Admin ID they can assign to the Administrative Assistant in your office. You might ask about that option.

I did they said NO NO NO I asked how other people are doing it and they said I'd get a $3,000 fine if I shared mine. I asked how office staff gets theirs and she said she didn't know. This is the head of membership

well there is a method somehow. i think the admin id is associated with the office id rather than the realtor or member id. but i am familiar with 2 appraisal companies who have an admin user id who is allowed to access MLS. in both cases the id is the first four letters of the office holder name followed by '01s1'. The s1 refers to 'secretary 1'.

Pay the MLS fee or pull up comps for them.

Which would negate any training. She has to do it herself and as far as they're concerned she can't use MY MLS. She's supposed to watch me for a year and not learn how to do it herself. These are the words of the person in charge. There is no "office assistant" I went back and forth with her on how others are doing it. She has no idea but won't give her any access, membership or anything else. I'm VERY frustrated
