I have a potential fraudulent case with the FHA. I reported everything to them with case number and extensive detail. No inquires, no questions, just plain facts. After 5 days they finally got back to me. Here is their response. I believe this person has worked as an UW before and was fired for actually reading a report. BTW the case is closed unless I want to re-open it....

Thank you for contacting the FHA Resource Center. Please see the following response to your inquiry.

I apologize Kevin, but what is your question?

I am truly at a loss for words. What a joke.

Kevin - send it to Pam, she'll send it to lots of people in and outside of FHA. That's just ridiculous.

Already did.

and I just sent a scathing response to them.

why does that not surprise me.....governmental run programs are the best

The Resource Center are contractors. Call back and ask to speak with someone in the appropriate HOC/Technical Support branch.

23 minutes on hold, no direction to the proper folks, thats enough for today. Feel free to contact (pm/e-mail) me Brad and I will foward the info to the proper folks. The Resource Center is absolutely useless for any information.

We need to stop blaming these problems on "the gov'ment". Try reporting a problem with an appraisal to BOA or Chase and see what kind of response you'll get. Sadly, you can expect more of the same. These problems with enforcement are an issue because no one, not government or private, wants to deal with them. Addressing problems does not produce income. Since it's a non-income producing function of every entity it's a low priority.

It's not the government. It's systemic throughout the economy. Was it the government that ran big business lenders into the ground? No, they did it to themselves because they didn't want to address the "problems". Once you realize that you'll come to understand how truly daunting trying to fix the system really is.

Good post CWD

the fact that these institutions have been bleeding billions means little to anyone other than Wall St., stockholders and the media.NO ONE seriously wants to address the problems. All the discussions, proposals, directives,HVCC etc....all lip service. Churn and burn baby, move the paper.

You can submit your complaint one of 4 ways:

are you kidding me? everything i experience that is run through the government is a joke. take our florida department of business and regulation. anybody that tries to call that and find out info will get 4 different answers if they call 4 times. when i was trying to get certified it took over 2.5 months to get approved and nobody could tell me why or why not only that it would take less then 30 days.

Im not saying that in this case there are not issues in the private sector as well, but it sure doesnt suprise me when a government paid employee gives a worthless responce and dosent seem to care.
