I downloaded Version 10 tonight!!! Or should I say Clickforms version 2?

I can't wait to start using it and see how well it performs. The first, most noticeable thing I like is that I don't have to reopen the program to use a different type of form. I can jump from a URAR to a condo form very quickly!!

Well, back to playing.......

No APEX integration. No neighborhood database. Not even a simple lender database. I'm not sure that this version is a step forward! :x

Yes, I'm very disappointed that they don't even have the lender database! I'm also getting extremely frustrated trying to figure out the digital signatures. Geez, what have they been doing all this time?

The signatures do seem to work. Check the help file.

I spent about 3 hours "playing" with version 10 (2.1). The lack of features is significant!! This software is EXTREMELY disappointing. It does not have the features that were in the beta and the BASIC features like databases and comp swapping/clearing are missing!! I have heard less flattering comments via email from other appraisers that can not be reprinted in a family forum like this :) Shame on Bradford. Shame on me for believing them.

After reading the posts here, I did not bother to download Version 10. It still does not appear to be ready for the market because I see no way to produce a complete report with it.

I do have a question though. The previous beta versions that I downloaded and looked at had template fonts that looked washed out and difficult to read. When I called about that, I was told that it was a conscious decision by the company because they figured that we already know what each of the fields was for. Even though we might, I still like to be able to read everything on the page without putting my face in the screen and decided that if that was the way it was going to look, they can sell it to someone else. My question is, does it still look that way or did they darken the template so it is easily readable? Thanks

David:

The text on the forms is lighter than the text you type in the fields if that's what you mean.

Although I thought they were going to have everything completely ready before they released this new version, I am impressed with their tech support. I had a problem with a form yesterday, sent them an email, and received a reply back within 2 hours. The problem was fixed immediately.

Change is very difficult and everyone resists, but I guess it's inevitable. I figure the only way to make it better is to start using the new version and report any problems so they can be fixed quickly. The only alternative is to start over with a completely new software and I really really don't want to do that!
