Had a trojan, a worm, and several other problems hit my computer yesterday. Ran some clean-up programs, and evidently it took something away from ACI. When I close a report I get this message:

Unknown error in ACITRK32.DLL Is DLL available?

An error occcurred while attempting to utilize the Borland Database Engine - error $2108.

If I reload my ACI, will the error go away, or is this more significant?

I'ld check with ACI, but the most likely fix is to reinstall your program.

Same thing happened last OCT.....

THERE IS a trojan with the initials BDE

some (not all) antivirus programs WILL delete your Borland because they scan and find the BDE.........

the DLL error sounds like the specific DLL was also corrupted.

Per ACI tech - when it happened to me - TED was correct.......

RE-INSTALLED PROGRAM FROM CD.......... then did all the required on-line updates........

problem solved.

Thanks for info.

Computer guru to take computer this afternoon.

Reinstalled ACI, and lost report32.exe. LOL Before re=installing, must delete applications file first, per ACI support.

Could not get everything to work, but ACI was going to go on my computer, and I told them we'll do that tomorrow, not until trojan is gone.

Thanks for tips, guys.
