I am obviously in no position to verify the accuracy of the information on this website, but thought it was pretty cool and looks like a valuable item to add to your toolbox.

http://www.portlandmaps.com/google.cfm

Of course, I'm scouring the web for information about my region and all I can come up with is something on the opposite side of the nation...

Also, I'm curious to find out if any of this data is accurate (zoning, plat, etc.), so I'd love to hear feedback.

I have used Portland Maps before and they were accurate and helpful. I haven't used them since the Google link has been added but I will try them with a Portland property and let you know.

I have used the Google streetview for some properties, it is a nice feature. Do you have that available?

Thanks for the info. Margaret

Margaret,
I didn't know about Google Streetview! It's awesome except it is pointed at the house next door to mine.
Thanks for the tool.

Oh sorry Laughing Heir, I didn't address your post. Portland Maps is great.
I get the APN from there and then go to ORMAP for the plat. Here is a link if you want to check it out.

I appreciate the feedback Margaret & Kimberly, thank you.

While my MSA is pretty substantial, we are usually behind the curve to our big brothers Philadelphia & Pittsburgh. We don't have Streetview that I can find, but probably will 5 years after the major metros get it.
