No. Pay for it. I believe it's required now you have your own copy to get credit for the class.

Take the class, get the book.

You MUST take the class in order to renew your certification.

FYI, McKissock does allow you to use a PDF copy of the book. I have been doing it for 10 years.

There is no problem with a PDF purchased from the Appraisal Foundation directly but one shouldn't use pirated copies. Best thing to do is go to the AF website and buy through there. Or if you take a class at McKissock, it may be included in the cost of the class? I don't know, I buy both book and download for myself, and keep them as records in my library.
