A fella at work is looking at a property with 100+ acres. His wife served our country (atta girl, Army truck driver, she's a pretty cool girl) and is eligible for VA.

Are there any guidelines (30% for example) as to the site or size of the parcel when doing a VA appraisal?

May be a lending question but wondered if anybody experienced a larger rural improved parcel.

Thank you all.

No problem. It is covered in C^ #6 in the handbook. This is just an excerpt......"There is no specific limit on overall land or site size, or the inclusion of additional lots as long as the whole parcel is contigious and conveyed)i.e. encumbered) as a single entity. Thank her for her service and tell her to go for it.
