I just needed to pose this question perhaps there is some one out there that would know the answer or there is someone that is lurking that knows who to contact.

I have been trying to find out the requirments for getting approved with the VA Fee Panel in Western Washington State for the past three days. Calling people in the Seattle VA headquarters. Everyone I get that actually answers gives me another number and person to call. Others that I have left messages with are either way behind in returning calls or do not return calls.

So does anyone out there know at the seattle VA the person or persons to contact?

Thanks,

Ryan

As of 10/1/02, the 9 Regional Loan Centers became responsible for administration of the Construction and Valuation (C&V) Sections of VA's Home Loan Program.

The out-based employees still located at some of the Regional Offices are responsible for the Specially Adapted Housing program and field reviews in their state. They no longer administer the program functions within their state.

This web page shows the 9 locations and the states that each has jurisdiction over:

Washington is monitored by the Denver office and if you click on their web link and go to the C&V link - there is new info there about appraiser packages.

Ryan, If you don't get what you need, call Joe Reno at the Denver office. He is a very nice guy. Remember they have a requirement of a minimum of 5 years appraisal expericence.

Mike,

Thanks for the contact. I will call him before I fill out the form. I read on the requirements that it states 3 years experince do you know where the 5 years comes from? I deffinatly want this clarified prior to filling out the paperwork. Otherwise I will wait another 4 months when my 5 years comes up then send it.
