Hello - I would like the opinion of some of you. From an appraiser stand point, which website do you feel was more informative and which do the most of you subscribe to? Appraiser Buzz or Working RE. I want to make sure I'm getting my money's worth! Sorry if I'm unable to use actual names on here...I'm new:shrug:

I boycott the Buzz, Working RE is good, but isn't that the one that combines appraiser and inspector info?

Why not both? I get newsletters from both for no fee (I have E&O with company that gives me Working RE). I find better info on Working RE. Buzz has a lot of AMC and avm propaganda. Since you're AMC you may like it.

I think you should start here. I would think you'd get more BANG! for your buck. Really.

disclaimer: The poster is in no way affilliated with this web site, its principals or its marketing. (sometimes not even affilliated with its principles either). BANG! is a trademark of Batman Inc. along with the words POW!, CRUNCH! and GAK! The opinions posted by the poster are his/her own and are in no way coherent or indicative of any basis in reality either virtual or well, ....er....reality reality. (?)

(?) is a trademark of Joker Inc.

Really if YOU need some BANG! this is the place. (Not to be confused with BHANG, which is illegal.)

Besides which, as an AMC, who are you advertising to? The appraisers? The only advertising you need for us is to pay a decent fee, expect reasonable turn times and limit the b.s. as much as possible. We'll pave the road to your door.

Spend a little time here on the site and interact with the community. Best advertising you can get if you pay attention to whats going on here and act accordingly in your business dealings with us or our peers. Word will travel fast.

If you are marketing to banking/mortgage folks for work for your appraisers, (which is the big trick) neither Working RE or AP buzz is going to help you there. You might want to look in the Jobs Wanted section of the New York Times for those folks.
