Same here...
and I don't want every client who calls. With a change in my business and branching out into different areas, I'm getting more picky as to who I deal with. Or maybe I'm just getting older and more cranky?

Same here. I even took my number out of the phone book so I wouldn't have to deal with the comp check BS. None of my regular clients give me an target value or homeowner estimate. They just want the truth.

My best client is still making money in this business, and so am I. Many of the ones who called looking for comp checks (I would not do it) are now out of business or will soon be due to bleeding red ink. I do not feel sorry for them one damn bit either. They made their bed and ruined my "profession". They need to go out of business along with the target value hitters. Good riddance.
