I have a job tomorrow that the owner describes as a "pre-manufactured" home of unknown age that he has built a 2 story addition on with all new hardiboard siding. He says it was not a mobile but he isnt really sure because he didn't have it installed (the original owner had a workshop that was built in 82 so I imagine the original structure was on the land by then as well). He says there is a steel undercarriage but no axles, wheels, hitch and its on a pier/beam foundation. Neither the county or TX Dept of Housing shows anything manufactured on that site...the county just has record of when the addition was built. SO....how do I determine if this is a modular (1004) or manufactured (1004C)????? Now I see why the last appraiser declined this job :leeann:
