Every one I've ever seen looks like somebody faxed it to themselves 12 times till it looked like @$$ before sending it on to me.

Has anyone ever seen a clean copy of a sales contract?

It is the same fax machine they use to send original appraisal reports with when requesting a field review :)

I usually try to get a clean copy from the agent when I meet them at the property. Back in the day it saved a ton of fax paper and I could actually read it. With emails, now the problem seems to have cleared up for the most part :)

Only when it's sent by email.

I usually call the listing agent as they have the cleanest copy, and you get it full size.

Sales contracts must be the big jokes in every office...our admin asst suggested that they might be the cause of my headaches and the reason that I need bifocals!:Eyecrazy:

have had a policy for years to ask the agent to bring a copy of the agreement or leave a copy at the property when doing an inspection. faxed copies are always the worst, as it is not all typewritten and if they use Blue ink pens, makes it unreadable.

Contract? What's a contract?

You talk about contracts by Fx ..........what about photo's in Valuation Reports.........they are usually just black blobs by the time they come out our end.

I request everything by email. That way I get a clean copy most of the time.

I've gotten appraisals that were barely readable, wasn't complete and only had black pictures for review. The lender claims that's all they've got. How can they claim they've done their due diligence if all they've got is an appraisal with no pictures and missing pages?
