Hi all,

I'm wondering what you seasoned appraisers have to say re the best i.e., most cost effective/most accurate way to use and subscribe to the First American R.E. data products (Win2Data).

It seems really easy to run up a monster bill 8O using the online pay-by-the-minute approach, but I have heard the info on the disks is not as accurate

Feedback? Any user tips you could pass along?

Much appreciated. Thanks!!

Changed last year from the disks to online because online is updated more frequently. Haven't had a problem with the online procedure. Just be careful how many requests you try to process. Don't try to retrieve an entire subdivision or, you're right, you won't like the bill! Create a careful search and you should be okay. Just remember, it's only one source and to increase your odds of being accurate, you need several sources of data.

Good luck!
