Windows Xp Locks

windows xp locks up. Does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? I tried to find out on the MS page but couldnt find what i was looking for.

Hundreds of possibilities. Some hardware related and others software related.

Download SP3 and see if that helps. Do a thorough disk clean-up and defrag.

SP3 has helped me. Also turning-off real time scanning of your Internet Security might help too.
