FHA checklist

When I took the little bit of training for the FHA panel, they said that the main reason to look into the attic was to check for sagging rafters or beams.
Noting the insulation was a factor, but insulation was not a requirement, but a value factor if deficient.

Minor correction. Had some 1pt rules interspersed with 0.25pt rules.

Edit: Just printed my second version and I think 1pt rules look better, but this is just a sample for layout anyway.

You certainly may. My understanding is that this is a freeware project and the idea is to produce the best checklist possible.

Edit: I see looking back at my post # 17, I didn't say what I meant. That was with regard to the right hand comments section not having the line item rules extending into it. Brain was thinking one thing whilst fingers typed something else. Anyhow, the sample shows what I meant to say.

1. Highlight all the cells in a large area like from the word 'Roofing' to the last cell above the 'Siding' section. Right-click, select Lines and Shading, the bottom part is 'Range', change the 'Around' to 2pt for the bold rule.

2. Then the tedious parts, highlight all the cells in the 'Roofing' row, right-click, Lines and Shading, then select 'Single cells'. Now change 'Top' to 2pt.

3. Do same as #2 for bottom row (Less than 2 years REL), do single cells and change the 'Bottom' to 2pt.

4. Continue on for the rest of the form.

There may be an easier way, but since I'm self taught by trial and error (and error & error) this is how I did it.

Third sample.

I just added an extra carriage return under the 'B' of PROB and took out the extraneous empty row. Converted the minor rules to 1pt and the section border rules to 2pt.

I noticed that on screen some of the 1pt rules look a bit bolder, but when I print they are ok. Is that the same as you see?
