One of my subs is older than me (and I am older than dirt.) I directed him to take certain courses in the past few months which I thought would teach him a few tricks he might find useful for the State Exam.

He crammed and studied, took courses, and read thru and took a number of sample tests. He took the test and passed it on the first try. A very good result.

I am much pleased and it vindicates my tutoring (pat, pat, pat self)

Congratualtions are due to both of you. IMO, motivation is the biggest element of success in our business. Your sub is demonstrating his ability to grow and prosper. If he keeps it up, he shall not fail.
