The majority of our registered users are real estate appraisers so this is the perfect place to market to appraisers. We offer two types of advertising at AppraisersForum.com. Banner advertising, which places your banner at the top of each forum page, and forum sponsorship, where you sponsor an individual forum. Banner Ad Rates

Rates below are based on the number of exposures of your banner. Banners are shown at the top of the AppraisersForum.com main forum index as well as on all forum pages. These rates are subject to change without notice:

Note: The banner purchases above can be displayed over any time period you desire with a minimum exposure rate of 10,000 per month (333 avg exposures per day). Larger purchases than above can be made, and the larger the purchase, the cheaper the rate per 1,000 banners. Use the comments section on the order form below to request a quote for larger purchases.

The success of your advertising campaign depends on the effectiveness of your banner. We can control how many times your banner is shown, however we can not control how many times someone will click on it. It is up to you to design an effective banner to draw interest. Banners loose effectiveness over time, it is recommended that you alternate or replace banners that have had a lot of exposure (unless the click thru's are still high for that banner)

Banner Ad Specifications

The banner size we use for banner advertising is 728 x 90. Banners must be in .gif format and can be animated. Maximum size of banners in bytes is 75K. If you have a banner that is over 75K you can reduce the # of bites using a graphics program or various free online services. Do a search for "free banner maker" or something similar and you will find several places to create and size your banner. A smaller (less bytes) banner will load faster, making it more likely that someone will notice your banner.

Banners are shown on the main index of forums, each individual forum, the message pages, and all other pages that have to do with reading and posting messages on our bulletin board. Banners are shown at random on these pages and there is no provision to specify that your banner can appear on some pages but not others.

The vast majority of visitors to AppraisersForum.com are appraisers, thus your banner will be seen by those who might be interested in appraisal related products.

You will be given a link to a password protected page where you can view your banner exposures and click thru's and keep up with the progress of your advertising campaign!


Banner Ad Order Form

We reserve the right to reject any advertisement. Prior to accepting advertising we must have a copy of your banner and the URL to which the banner will link. Complete the order form below and you will receive a response within 24 hours. No ad is started until payment is received. Payment may be made by credit card or check. You will receive an invoice with payment instructions. We will not invoice you until we receive your banner for approval. Please send your banner when you send this order form.

Agreement - You hereby order banner advertising as per your selection above. You agree that you are purchasing a certain number of banner exposures on the forums at AppraisersForum.com which include the main forum index page and the message pages, and that your banner will be randomly displayed on these pages. Your ad campaign will be spaced to occupy approximately the number of months in the exposure rate you selected above. However the number of exposures you have purchased is the controlling factor so your actual time period for your campaign may be slightly shorter or longer than the time specified.

You will be given a link to a page where you may view the progress of your advertising campaign and you may monitor the exposures and click thru's for your banner. In addition, you agree that once an advertising campaign has started, should you decide to discontinue your ad before the number of purchased exposures has been reached, there will be no refunds for unused exposures. We reserve the right to refuse to sell advertising to anyone, for any reason, at our discretion.

Forum Sponsorship

Forum sponsorship allows you to sponsor one individual forum. Your Company Name as forum sponsor and a link to your web site will be displayed on the Main AppraisersForum.com page within the individual forum description of the forum that you sponsor. In addition, within the individual forum itself, at the top of the forum you sponsor, will be your ad banner and your text description of your company, and the notation that you are sponsoring that particular forum. This will be linked to your website also.

To see an example of how forum sponsorship looks visit the Commercial/Industrial Appraisals forum. The maximum banner size for forum sponsorship is 728 x 90 (commonly known ad leaderboard size).

Rates - Forum Sponsorship is $100 per month for any forum, except for the sub-forums under the Technical Forum which are $100 for 3 months, and Individual State Forums which $50 for 3 months.

Discounts for multi-month orders as follows: 3 months - $275 (save $25)
6 months - $525 (save $75)
12 months - $1000 (save $200)

New! - Technical Forum Sub Forum Sponsorship

The sub forums under the Technical - Hardware/Software forum are offered for sponsorship at a rate much less than normal forum sponsorships! Your banner and message, as well as links back to your website, will be prominently displayed at the top of the sub forum you sponsor.

3 months - $100 (3 months minimum)
6 months - $180
12 months - $340

Special - State Forum Sponsorship

If your message is state specific then sponsor one more more of the individual "state" forums!

3 months - $50 (3 months minimum)
6 months - $90
12 months - $160

Renewals- Existing sponsors will be sent a renewal invoice 1 week before their ad is due to expire. As long as they pay the renewal invoice prior to expiration they will be renewed. If the renewal is not paid prior to expiration the forum is open for someone else to sponsor.

Education Forum Sticky Threads

This type of advertising is for providers of appraisal educational courses to have their threads describing their courses "stuck" to the top of the Education Forum in the "sticky threads" section. Rates are $10 for 1 week, $30 for 1 month, and $150 for 6 months. Longer terms will be quoted individually.
