We offer two types of advertising at AppraisersForum.com. Banner advertising, which places your banner at the top of each forum page, and forum sponsorship, where you sponsor an individual forum. Click the links below for details and ordering information for each type of advertising.
Rates below are based on the number of exposures of your banner. Banners are shown at the top of the AppraisersForum.com main forum index as well as on all forum pages. These rates are subject to change without notice:

Note: The banner purchases above can be displayed over any time period you desire with a minimum exposure rate of 10,000 per month (333 avg exposures per day). Larger purchases than above can be made, and the larger the purchase, the cheaper the rate per 1,000 banners. Use the comments section on the order form below to request a quote for larger purchases.
The success of your advertising campaign depends on the effectiveness of your banner. We can control how many times your banner is shown, however we can not control how many times someone will click on it. It is up to you to design an effective banner to draw interest. Banners loose effectiveness over time, it is recommended that you alternate or replace banners that have had a lot of exposure (unless the click thru's are still high for that banner)
Banner Ad Specifications
The maximum banner size we allow for banner advertising is 728 x 90. You may use a smaller size also. Many people use the 468 x 60 size also. Banners must be in .gif format and can be animated, but are limited to 3 "loops". Maximum size of banners in bytes is 25K. If you have a banner that is over 25K you can reduce the # of bites using the Gif Optimizer at Gifworks.com. A smaller (less bytes) banner will load faster, making it more likely that someone will notice your banner.
Banners are shown on the main index of forums, each individual forum, the message pages, and all other pages that have to do with reading and posting messages on our bulletin board. Banners are shown at random on these pages and there is no provision to specify that your banner can appear on some pages but not others.
The vast majority of visitors to AppraisersForum.com are appraisers, thus your banner will be seen by those who might be interested in appraisal related products.
You will be given a link to a password protected page where you can view your banner exposures and click thru's and keep up with the progress of your advertising campaign!
Banner Ad Order Form
We reserve the right to reject any advertisement. Prior to accepting advertising we must have a copy of your banner and the URL to which the banner will link. Complete the order form below and you will receive a response within 24 hours. No ad is started until payment is received. Payment may be made by credit card or check. You will receive an invoice with payment instructions. We will not invoice you until we receive your banner for approval. Please send your banner when you send this order form.
Rates - Forum Sponsorship is $100 per month for any forum except the General Appraisal Discussion Forum, which is $200 per month. Discounts for multi-month orders as follows:3 months - $275 (save $25)
6 months - $525 (save $75)
12 months - $1000 (save $200)
(double the above figures for the General Appraisal Discussion forum)
Renewals- Existing sponsors will be sent a renewal invoice 1 week before their ad is due to expire. As long as they pay the renewal invoice prior to expiration they will be renewed. If the renewal is not paid prior to expiration the forum is open for someone else to sponsor.
