I am new to this forum. Live in NE Connecticut. I have concerns about AMC and their negative effect on our business. I am relatively new to this business having been in practice for the past six years. For the past two years I have been trying to establish a client base with very little success. As such I now work for various companies on a fee split basis. Most are now involved with AMC's that as I am sure you all know pay a fraction of full fees. I have on more than a few occasions asked the borrower how much they are paying, only to find without exception that they are paying double to triple what I am being paid. I think this is gouging the consumer as the management companies are adding zero value to our work. I am wondering if the consumers affair department would look at this and if it is an issue that this group has concerns with.

Welcome to THE Forum! I like your concerns and think taking this to the consumers affair department of any State and especially the Feds is great.

Sept 15 meeting

Hello Everyone;

As you know awhile back I proposed a meeting on this coming Monday at the Holiday in @ I-91 exit 12 @ 8:30. I see that some have indicated they would be there. I will be there and find a seat in the breakfast/restaurant room and let the hostess know we expect some more people. If no one shows I will leave @ 9:00.

Hope to see as least 2 others there.
