This just in...if you were waiting to take the OLD exam but AMP couldn't get you in BEFORE January 1, 2008....you will end up taking the NEW exam when its ready.

The AQB is absolutely firm on this.

There will be NO way to take the old exam anymore.

And...as an aside...if you FAILED the old exam...even by a point or two...then you failed the exam. There is no appeal...no form to fill out in order to complain about the test. It is what it is.

Is there an ETA for the new exam?

You have only known about this for how many YEARS? What is your point?

Ron,

I think you took my post the wrong way.

Mr. Weaver mentioned "you will end up taking the new test when it is ready." I just finished my QE in December, so I know I have to take the new exam and I am anxious to do so. I was simply asking Mr. Weaver if he had any information about when Illinois/AMP expect to have the new exam ready.

Didn't mean to elevate your blood pressure... :peace:

End of January is our best guess. AMP is still doing quality control.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
