I am sending in my log/experience requirements to sit for the Texas appraisal examination and we are nearing a sit down to talk about how I will be compensated. I am in East Texas and was hoping to get some information on what is the norm for the fee split percentage. I will be a licensed residential appraiser. Most of the information I've received has indicated about 35%. In most of these offices this will include a review by a certified general appraiser, secretary work done to create the file, find tax records, etc........ Any and all information is appreciated. Also if anyone knows a good study guide for the test I'd appreciate it. Thanks for the help.
