Spoke w local legislator sponsoring a change to FOIA that would shield police officers from public disclosure of personal info including assessor data, addresses, ph no.'s, as well as security plans (such as Razorback games, political events, etc), officer schedules, etc. Instances of police homes being robbed after such disclosures has happened. Twelve in Oklahoma are suspected alone. As loathe as I am weaken FOI I suspect it is needed, I support it. Call your legislators and let them know. This is the last week of the ledge so call Monday...
