Mac McIntosh died of apparent heart failure last Saturday morning. His memorial service will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Horne 13801 Chenal Parkway, here in Little Rock, at 3 P.M. on Tuesday January 6th, 2015. B.A. was a staff appraiser for First Federal S & L. Mac served as Pulaski County Assessor from 1980 to 2000, and after retiring he worked at Ferstl Valuation Services for the next 14 years.
Mac was a native Arkansan, born and raised near Oil Trough, Arkansas. He was the first professional appraiser to serve as Tax Assessor here in Pulaski County and brought the assessor's office into modern times by hiring and training appraisers and converting the office to modern computer operations.
