Microsoft Firewall Blocking Server Connection

I have two computers in my office that are working on the Total Server. From time to time, the workstation will no longer connect to the server computer and gives me an error stating that the server is down. When I disable my Windows Defender Firewall, the workstation can connect and work like normal. Has anyone experienced this? Any fixes without disabling the firewall all of the time?

I was able to contact Alamode with someone who actually knows what they are talking about and they were able to fix the issue pretty quickly. Just wanted to let y'all know in case someone else has this same issue.

With any MS version? or just 10 or 11?

I am currently running 11. He opened the command prompt and typed something in and then it just started working. Fricken life saver. I have been trying to figure it out on my own for 2 days.

My tech says to avoid 11 like the plague. It's buggier than a Roach Hotel.

Of course I would choose to update to the latest and "greatest".
