MLS Access

Hi all, I am new to the Vegas area, I just received my NV license and was trying to get an MLS subscription. GLVAR told me that I have to join GLVAR, and have a business license to do so. In the D.C. area, appraisers could join the MLS with just their license, do I really have to join GLVAR and pay all of their member fees just for MLS access?

Jeez, I can't believe it, what a racket. Over $1500 just to join, now I have to look into the business license and such. I wasn't sure if I was going to try to work for someone else, as an independent contractor, or as a sole proprietor, I guess I have to decide now.m2:
