New Server

AppraisersForum.com is now running on a new server. P4 2.8 mhz with 1GB RAM.

Enjoy the speed! Of course you are limited by your Internet connection speed, but if you are on cable or dsl you should be able to tell a slight difference, especially when the forum gets busy (usually from 12 noon to 4 pm)

That's the reason the forum was down Sunday afternoon. I took it offline and transferred the 110,000 posts to the new server, as well as set everything up. Whew, that was a lot of work!

First to to My controls and make sure you have your preferences set to receive email. Then make sure you have the right email address listed. If you still don't get them make sure that your ISP spam filter is not catching them and discarding them.

Also I just moved the ad server to the new forum server so the pages should load even faster since the forum doesn't have don't have to access the add server in another state before the pages load.
