About to take my state licensed exam in a couple weeks. Took a cram course at Champions in Dallas which was great, but any other tips from you guys that have passed it?
I'm preparing to take my licensing exam as well. Some on this forum have mentioned learnappraising.com . They supposedly offer state/exam appropriate practice questions. Good luck

If you payed attention and actually READ in your core classes, there is no need to take a cram course. Just make sure and bring your calculator There was a lot of math on my license exam and quite a few questions about sections/townships and so on. I just got finished passing the cert. exam and there was way less math and way more commercial stuff. Anyways, good luck! Don't stress over it, it is a 3-4 hour test but it isn't rocket science.
Took and passed the licensing exam friday. There was a lot more statistics BS than I've had in ANY of the core classes. Now, I prepare for the Certification exam. I'm thinking of taking it in Jan, after the holidays are over.
Just passed my L exam today. I used CompuCram as a study and test practice tool and it was fine. The biggest thing though is to just go back and re-read the original Principles, Procedures, and USPAP books again.
Now if I could just trade someone for 1,000 more hours I'd be good to go.
Workbox is right though. The L is a dime a dozen and the CR is definitely the next target. I'm a firm believer that a year or so from now, the L won't mean anything.
