Over the years I have had the opportunity to discuss enforcement with TALCB and submit appraisers for discipline. I know of one appraiser that I submitted numerous complaints, and the appraiser went through the system. He hired an attorney and wore TALCB down, keeping his license. One of the appraisals I submitted is now being used by TALCB as a teaching tool about how REALLY not to do an appraisal. I see more stringent enforcement on the Real Estate Salesman/Broker side than the appraisal side.
