Are you ready? Unfortunately I am going owe a few thousand (possibly around $5K. My wife and I both made more than we expected. I am almost finished. Waiting on a couple of more records on a couple of accounts and my wife has access to those accounts and I don't have password.

I got it in. I had to mail it with tracking. I claimed more ASA healthcare credits than I qualified for. I underestimated my income for 2025 and My wife made more money too and we file jointly. I couldn't e-file it. I took last full jobs last weekend. I did some final inspections this past weekend. I am going to be hurting for money soon. I just gave about $4,800 to uncle Sam.

The lady at post office said do you want to mail it certified? I said "No"...........I just want tracking on it to know it got there. Shipping was only about $8.

The lady at bank we have been doing business with a long time didn't charge me for the cashier's check. That probably paid for shipping.

knowing how much I paid and how tax dollars are pizzed away is especially enraging this time of year

The fraud task force has found $600 million in hospice fraud in California in less than six weeks since they started looking. 400+ hospice centers gave been shuttered. Take heart.

LOL. I got so upset after withdrawing that cashier's check, I forgot to get a cup of coffee at their coffee bar going out. I knew where that money was going.

I am back at work now. I have been working on taxes like 1.5 to 2 weeks own and off. I had stopped new orders like 1.5 to 2 weeks ago.

I operate on a cash basis and wish I would have held a few checks November, December 2025 and deposited them in 2026. It would have helped a little.
