VA fees increase with new forms?

Funny how this is common knowledge, yet AI can't find a hint of the facts? Figures don't lie and liars don't provide figures. Why do you think the GSEs won't show the data they rely on to prove appraisers are racist and less competent than anyone else providing valuations?

"Total loan volume: The VA has guaranteed a total of almost $4 trillion in home loans since 1944, as of August 2025.
Default cost: The actual dollar amount the VA has paid out to lenders for defaulted loans is not publicly disclosed."

It is hard to fathom how weak a mind must be to believe that those willing to lie about killing veterans to minimize their accountability for not doing their jobs would be truthful in all other reporting.

"Yes, there are documented cases where VA personnel have falsified records to cover a lack of performance in serving veterans. This has included manipulating appointment wait times to appear compliant and altering medical records to suggest a veteran declined care, which can have dangerous consequences. These instances have been investigated by the VA's Office of Inspector General, and some employees have been charged with crimes. "
Don't mix apples and oranges. Appraisal practice and medical practice are different professions.

I could jump on how many veterans with all kinds of ailments love the VA hospital but I will stick with appraisals since I am not a medical doctor.

As far as I know, VA needed no bailout from the Federal Govt and taxpayers.

HUD/FHA and GSEs and Banks did need taxpayer bailout.

I'll drive it home. VA home loans and VA medical services are two of the greatest benefits the Federal Government gives veterans.

Frankly, I think veterans deserve more benefits.

If VA can insure mortgages as long as they have for veterans and needed no bailout money, they must be doing something right.

I understand there are mitigating factors because of the quality of the borrower and appraiser and VA not taking abuse from unscrupulous people (players) in the home lending world.

Questions?

Last VA meeting I went to with the 'old geezers' one of them said, "I still do VA's cause they accept pencil."
They don't overload their panel with fastest and cheapest based on my experience. AMC a/k/a appraisal management company is not in their vocabulary.
