I know who you were insulting.

You can back peddle all you want but in the end you made light of a real incident in which someone was hurt and robbed.

Aw, does it hurt and have a temperature?

You can stop with the fake umbrage, cupcake. I can only insult your friend if he's here in the thread too. Otherwise it's just the two of us.

People living in tough neighborhoods are people too. Most, are decent folks.

Totally agree. There are good and bad people everywhere. But the politically incorrect truth is some areas are less safe than others. To pretend otherwise is to risk your life.

In some of these areas the police will not walk a beat without a partner.

Would you send your mom for walk through these tough neighborhoods alone?

Sure, I'd have no trouble seeing my mom walk through such neighborhoods. I'm pretty sure people would run the other direction.

Either that or call "Ghostbusters".

Me too--at least for the time being. Once I get released from jail for the trespassing conviction I may take my own again.

My states law:

http://www.cga.ct.gov/2002/olrdata/jud/rpt/2002-R-0365.htm

A person commits simple trespass if, knowing he is not licensed or privileged to do so, he enters premises without intent to harm any property. This is an infraction punishable by a fine, currently $ 77 plus costs and fees if paid by mail (CGS § 53a-110a).

Now how could a cop interpret an appraiser driving deeply onto private property via a long driveway and snapping a photo of the home if the homeowner wanted to press charges? This is the least severe of trespass charges.

Tonight on CSI Connecticut: Another victim is strangely bored to death.

Next week: GS Troop 132 goes on a rampage!

I see. So if I posted a barrage of jokes aimed at the victims of 9/11 on this forum there should be no offense since none of them are here in the thread? Is that how it works on your playground?

Keep back peddling.

When pressed for real answers you make jokes. You have no credibility IMO as you and I both know there are areas you would not let your mom walk through alone assuming she were alive.

If getting that comp photo is that important and you do not mind racking up numerous trespassing charges on your record and paying $77 plus costs each time go for.

Why not just measure the house and maybe force your way into the home to view the granite kitchen. Whatever it takes right?

I think I saw that once on that reality show "Connecticut State Troopers". You know, the episode where they round up all those appraisers for mopery.

Is that the episode where they roughed up the girl scout for peddling cookies without a license?
