Just wait till your get a tax bill for the air you breathe because exercise monitor you wear is transmitting respiration frequency and volumes to "them".

Oh no, not Them!!!??? And that's why I check under my bed each and every night. Them are always on the prowl!

I'm assuming if the tax involved sanitary sewers they would be complaining about the "Feces Tax." Them's got some nerve!

At least your county government is being truthful. My county government didn't want to be blamed for spending money on a regional sewer system or a courthouse or a jail so they allowed the county to be ordered to spend the money by a court! In either case its the citizens fault for electing and re-electing the same type of politicians to run their county governments.

Adams county has no problem taking your mineral rights, so why not tax your storm water?

I had not posted this in the Colorado thread, and it was moved without consulting me. I do not like to post in the state threads because they are stale, and nobody checks them. Moderators are disappointing and off que, as expected. Move this back to general discussion please. Rain tax is not unique to Colorado.

This will be a national issue before you know it. Taxed by surface area on your total grounds, which cannot absorb water. Taxed for your roof, patio, per sf, and possibly taxed for public roadways, if the article references are accurate. This is imbalanced taxation, because not everybody pollutes. People with eco concious materials which prevent the negative aspects of run off, are apparently not recognized, and are still taxed.

I'd rather drive on a dirt road, than pay a tax upon my home, for the rain that falls on a paved road out front.

I was going to follow up with questions if anyone else has these issues in their states.

Except the thread was moved to a Colorado specific thread, for no good reason except the name Colorado was in a link.
