If they go under, I'd say it couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of guys.
However, that's about as likely as Hillary being indicted

Of course they lack capital as the treasury has made the GSE's pay every cent in profit they have made over the past several years to the government and have not allowed the GSE's to maintain any meaningful reserves...Since 2008, the GSE's have paid roughly $240 billion to the government, which far exceeds the $187.49 billion in draws that they received from the government
