Is there any way to set it up like Medina? Going from V1 all the way to Medina, I could sketch a full sketch in about 5 min. Now I'm ready to stab someone and use Total Sketch. This is madness. Haaaaaalp!

Stick with it. There is a bit of a learning curve (probably 2-3 assignments to get through the basics), but you'll love it.

PM me with your contact info and I'll have Brian give you a call and walk you through it. It really is easy and I'll bet we can get you up and going in just a few minutes. I'll have Brian call you and suggest you send him a fax or copy of your sketch so he can go over it or just do some examples.

I am out of the country tomorrow through Friday evening but I will check my messages here and be able to get with Brian sometime tomorrow morning if you send me your info. Basically I need an email, phone, etc. Alternately, if you know your account number, that helps :)

[Edit] Brian emailed me to say he is sending you a PM to try and get in touch with you. He will likely suggest that he log onto your PC via remote, do a quick sample sketch to illustrate the similarities and differences (and explain why the changes were made) and then walk you through doing your own sketch. It should not take you long to get the hang of it. Brian is a senior tech, BTW, not a salesperson ;-)

Ugh. If I wanted to learn a new system I woulda just went with the free Total Sketch.

OK. You asked for help and I'm offering help... Apex v6 works pretty much like older versions of Apex except you draw first and define afterward. Pretty much he same keystrokes for basic functions, etc. I'd like to help but if you want to go back to an older version you certainly can. Brian can help you in that regard - even though it is about 4 or 5 years old (?) perhaps Apex v5 is what you want?
[Edit]
It is almost identical to Apex v4 (aka "Medina") but is 5 or 6 years newer and has upgrades which were primarily the result of user requests.

Anyway, if you'll get with Brian, he will help you.

Give me a few days. The first couple I wanted to punch my screen. But it's getting tolerable....lol. Still a few frustrations to work out. I guess I was really used to upgrading from v1 through v4, they were super easy transitions. I am on Windows 10 with Total so the only thing I know for sure is Medina won't work. It was a glorious run, though!.

I'll hit Brian up for a couple questions in the meantime. Thank you!

Sure thing. Let us know how we can help. If you can spend just a couple of minutes with Brian, he can help you really shorten the time. There is no cost to you other than a few minutes of your time :-)
