I'm sure he's getting everything he deserves but what's up with a $1,000 special assessment on top of a potential fine of $5M and 5 years of supervised release after a possible 166 years in prison?

"...what's up with a $1,000 special assessment..."

I haven't yet read the article....
But that was the 1st thing that popped up in my mind....

I guess it's meant to teach him a lesson....:)

Now that I've read the article....
166 years and THEN 5 years of supervision....

If convicted, he could be back on the streets appraising at about 200 years old...
(dirtbag)

Geez, people get off easier for murder.
He should pay for his crimes, but 166 years? :ROFLMAO:

According to the article;

Kenworthy was added to the FHA appraiser roster in 1999 and, in or about January 2106, HUD suspended Kenworthy, barring him from performing FHA appraisals

Man, I've heard of future punishment, but I think this is a Stretch by a long shot; don't think we're even close to that "Time Line"

I was thinking, "damn, why didn't I think of this scheme". But that $1000 was too big of a deterrent. Not worth the risk.
