I did a driveby today and I saw the house completely tented for termites.
Does anyone know how many days the tent will be removed after the fumigation treatment so I can go back?

Termite Fact Sheet. 1 - 7 days.

I've never seen a tent fumigation in my entire life. I've heard of them and seen them on TV, but never in person. Is it a California or Alburquerque, New Mexico thing?

Sounds like that is the reason why they ordered a drive-by. They probably knew about it and didn't tell you. I would insist on extra trip charge or cancellation fee. Their chioce.

Your subject? I'd call and ask, or put in the tent photo and MLS photo or maybe google and ID it as such.
If a comp I use the tent photo and an MLS photo no question.

I contacted the client. I have end of week to complete assignment so I'll swing by again some time this week.

Usually a home is tented before close of escrow ? So is it a closed sale ?

I see "tented" homes ALL THE TIME around Monterey, CA. They are typically tented for 3 to 5 days around here. Here is one from a few days ago.

What's with the tents? Don't they have bug spray out there?

Include a photo of the tent, and the photo you take next on the 2nd trip. That might make the lender feel good, that it was just tented.

Then you'll get a revision request, asking for at least one tented comp.
