Insurrection never previously meant retaining all aspects of the Constitution and the govt and elected officials but seeking ways to legally challenge the election count and trying to urge an elected official to exercise (what was thought to be) their authority to not ratify a vote. Being incorrect about what can/can't be legally done isn't the same thing as intending to go outside the law in order to accomplish something that wasn't legally allowed.

Remember when the theater kids were urging the 2016 electors to be faithless or speculating as to whether the generals could prevent DJT from taking office? No crimes committed in having such thoughts or expressing such opinions or seeking such methods to get what they thought was right.

Storming the capitol was certainly a violent BLM-style riot and trespass and obstruction (and the rioters get what they get) , but there's no evidence anyone intended to actually overthrow the govt and replace it with something different. Different constitution, different elected officials, different laws, etc.

It's all hyperbole, just like the Steele Dossier that was used to fool the FISA court into approving those investigations. If they can prove Trump committed a crime then he gets what he gets too; but even instigating a riot doesn't amount to insurrection or sedition.

Thanks for the joust. It led me into a fantasy. I had two over bearing step mothers and I grew up mostly around women. At least allow a fella to make up a story. I remember seeing an ghost for an entire night when I was about five. My dad had moved out. There was an entity there. Later I was informed that children are exceedingly sensitive to all kinds of things. But my educators (not the people I learned from) would say that kids get scared. I was terrified. It was a small stunted form with a gaint pregnant stomach with a white bedsheet draped over it and it stood in the doorway of the master bedroom to the hall ... with street lights shining on it from other doorways in the hall. I was perpendicular with it for all night. It was warning of its coming for months before.

But, Mike, I always chocked it off to self induced issue that maybe the young child brain goes through. I weathered it and came out the other side telling myself I dreamed it up in my own head to keep my constitution for for the general public.

Making up stories is delight. All the fear of that night drifted out of me within a few minutes once I finally fell alseep near dawn and woke up to sunny room with momma by my side. I would sleep in her room. We were very close physically with an intimacy. While we never did any funny business ... .we did everything else. I got to caress my mom and she carressed me and then I became an effectuate? (I felt safe with momma by side) lover of women vertical and horizontal. Both fully clothed she would allow me to sleep beside her until I was 5. I would put my leg over her side .... I was in her womb there. I didnt want to come into the world too quickly ... whats the rush? I came out 9.35 months not nine. lmao

The rioters were not the real insurrectionists. The calculating people behind the scenes generating fraudulent electors to be counted were the real insurrectionists, the rioters were just cover to add extra pressure to the day. The real insurrectionistists include DJT, Guliani & Mark Meadows. And everybody on this forum who kept insisting that January 6th was not an insurrection attempt, despite what their lying eyes told them. Once people accept responsibility for their actions and denounce everybody involved they might be welcome to participate in our nations political system again.
