Although a member of the forum for many years I was content to "lurk and learn" and only contributed on the rare occasions where the 30+ year appraisers happy to volunteer their time in service to the profession didn't answer questions posed on the forum "immediately". I did however get very disturbed when all the 30+ year appraisers on this forum were united in the opinion that the 2020 election was "stolen" from Donald Trump. I wasn't content to sit on the sidelines and let that Russian propaganda become the generally accepted opinion on here.

I'm glad I got out of the appraisal craft before I'd put in 30+ years.

I"m not familiar enough with what MacArthur did that was proven "right" other than to identify Communist China as the primary enemy in the Far East, and to see the necessity of rapidly rebuilding Japan's industrial capability. Patton was right in pressing to not abandon Central Europe to the Soviets. Our refusal to attempt to stop the Russians allowed the Germans to complete their destruction of Poland, allowing the Soviets to waltz into Poland (and other) countries. Poland have been fought over for most of its history and its abandonment by the Allies in WWII - at both its beginning and its end- is an embarassing blight on the integrity of those nations that were bound by treaty to defend it.

McArthur intended to drive all Chinese troops back across the Yalu River and topple the north Korean regime for invading its neighbor in the south. He was threatening the use of atomic weapons to get that accomplished. He was playing a high-stakes game with that threat, as it was assumed that the Soviet Union's atomic bomb backed up China given the fact that they were communist brothers. McArthur calculated that the Russians wouldn't actually be willing to sacrifice any of their Capital Cities in support of Chinese troops who were engaged in a war against the United Nations. I think he was correct in making that assumption and we wouldn't be dealing with a North Korean regime currently threatening us with hypersonic missiles had we followed his advice. He also threatened to drop A bomb's all along the Yalu River making it too radioactive for Chinese troops to cross. A decidedly bad idea however the threat had an impact until Truman fired him for disrespecting the chain of command.

Mike you are fighting a lost cause as over half of this country young and old are done with phony Democracy-the constant race baiting and woke dope policy. To weaken traditional Democracy and return the Republic is to its former strength the Country and it's people have now risen up. Therefore whether Biden won or lost the election does not matter as our Message is the Democrats rigged the election and now Mr Empty suit is helping us by traveling the Country saying our election systems are broken .

Now as he crawl's away from Ukraine on his knees we will tell people he abandoned those poor fools just like he did to Afghanistan and guess what 75% of the people will believe it. We learned well by you guys as 4 years of fake news stories and reports that fake news has to be fought with more fake news. Next is to clean up the colleges and university's and get back to real educations and eliminate woke dope ideologies and fake math and fake made up science. Putin will help us in that cause by bringing western Europe to its knees as Biden places economic sanctions Putin will close the oil and gas valves and Germany's economy will go into the crapper and they will Blame Biden & Company and his pathetically weak NATO for not protecting them . Now you know the plan Stan-and see what your Woke Associates have to defend themselfs as their quickly being surrounded.

I can "see" Russia's point of view regarding protecting it's borders and wanting to have a "barrier" between it and NATO....
Should be obvious to AF members who wish to protect America's borders....

US/Russia/China/etc....
I dislike aggression being initiated by any nation against another....
