No. The mills will shift to the pines of SE USA. Only Western Red Cedar prices will be affected by tariffs. And WRC is used for siding and decks, not much else. The rest is minimal.

Until new construction picks up prices are just barely above mill costs'

I doubt that wood will be a major part of rebuilding in fire prone areas, especially in California

This is a gigantic scandal. The Biden Administration has been making mortgage payments for 1 million homeowners who were in default. They artificially manipulated the market to make the economy look better and drive housing prices up.
