He may be right on one point. FTC may jump in this pond. That would be serious to some individuals and/or organizations. FTC would be worse than Chopra with CFPB. FTC has Way more power.

Shifting gears, is Phil saying that misleading has been removed from the language?

Commingling of fees is about as misleading as it gets. I guess fudging test scores might be also.

FTC may jump in. I haven't emailed them yet.

Some people may get worse than fine if FTC jumps in. Number 1 would be cease and desist order. This is Federal Trade Commission. You have 30 days to answer this summons.

He mentions jail too. Idk. Maybe.

He is like if were in some of these people's shoes, I would resign before FTC jumped in.

He gave Jim Parks accolades.

I pray FTC jumps in. I don't have time right now, but I will email FTC.

Many of you made fun of me for bringing antitrust law in. May want to rethink making fun of me.

Lawsuits tend to get FTC attention.

That ship sailed after the AMCs took over.
Not totally true - there are direct lenders who do not use AMC's and mortgage wholesalers - but one has to have more experience and be able to appraise diverse property types well - However I do agree that sadly, AMC;s have levelled the playing field in their mission to assign cheap , but even the AMC's notice quality and there are lender owned AMCs that pay better as well - and some assign a percent of high value complex jobs.

I suppose if the profiteers get their way no standards would exist but we are not there yet -

You are jumping on separation of fees which NAIFA almost went broke fighting. I think NAiFA had a bunch of money when they started the fight on separation of fees on truth in lending disclosures.

Commingling of fees makes me sick. I hope federal trade commission jumps in.

They have power over any unfair trade practices.

When I say FTC has power over any unfair trade practices. I mean ANY

That could include a bunch in trade.

If you are not in trade, don't worry about it.

Never mind emailing them. I just got off the phone with them and they're anxiously awaiting your call. All of them.

Many don't want FTC to jump in on fair trade practices.
