If I had to live over there I would probably be somewhere in OC.
Prices in good parts of Orange County are even crazier. And San Diego has the best weather but it's also expensive for a good area. Your never living out here anyway on an appraisers income. So stay put and die where you know the territory best.

What is an appraisers income?

undergraduate college, best 6 years of my life!
3rd grade was the best 3 years of my life
Some homeless lives in RVs.
Some people sold their houses gladly, and live in an RV to have a simple life that does not tie them down to one state or location.
I can also buy cheaper in Gary Indiana..
And in Oklahoma a million dollars can buy you a lake front home with indoor pool, boat dock and indoor theatre.

I was busy for about 7 weeks , and then it dropped off to nothing. As in , no orders in two weeks, a record lull. Wonder if anyone else is experiencing it- could be a fluke -
You have mostly good clients too. You need to speak with them. If I needed an appraisal where you work, I would hire you.

I can think of many possible reasons. I don't think it is you girl. I know you do some AMC work but much non-AMC work. So you need to reach out to existing and non-existing clients.

The happiest folk's ive known live in small house's close to what they do for a living and have no room to collect junk or toys. If your raised on land and know the ropes that's great but these flat lander's out here don't have the skills to live on land.

Not me. I like seeing green outside the windows. Not neighbors.

I had to ask off a few days this week because my client don't like me being late on an assignment and I have to get caught up. Then I got this wicked assignment on the condo in a blighted condo development that is on verge of bankruptcy. I don't know what vacancy rate is. I will find out. The manager gave me his personal phone number this morning. He looked like he was headed to a worship service somewhere.

But 16 regular payers on 53 units on condo association dues don't look good. The exterior of the units shows it. The subject looks okay but seller did that. The manager explained it all to me. The seller owes manager money. Manager said a bunch.

But if I was a owner and wasn't paying condo association dues or tenant just paying rent?

I can read between the lines.

And now manager said the association's lawyer is sending out letters getting ready to do business.

It don't look good.

I will contact lender in the morning and let them know. If they want me to cancel, I will and they can pay me for work performed. I already know it stands no chance at contract price.

Family sale and whole nine yards of the condo association. The lender has already contacted the manager of the condo association. He told me that.
