CA Class action lawsuit re: AMC undisclosed fees?

Let me be clear that many who post on this forum are connected to amccs and have no problem with commingling of fees. If you don't know that, well...............?

Here is another factor people don't think about. State business tax comes into play in some States also and is related to commingling of fees.

Take for example if AMC is in another State from subject property.

Commingling of fees is just plain wrong. The original bill was not written to allow commingling of fees and got changed at last minute.

If that bill would not have been changed at last minute, the whole market structure of appraisal profession would be different.

Congress was just too stupid to know what they were doing and let somebody pad their pocket.

Come on amccs forumites. I can handle you. :)

Call Joan. I miss Joan btw. It is a love/hate relationship we have together. The love part was her trying to get under my skin and she couldn't do it. I hate commingling of fees and she was in position to do more than she did.

Joan's pocket was padded like Congress. She didn't hate commingling of fees like me. But in some weird way, she loved me.

Dang, I may be in timeout soon. LOL

I know he knows I badgered Ms. Trice on commingling of fees. I really thought she could help because of position she was in but I read the lady wrong. I might as well have been beating my head against the wall. Hindsight is 20/20. I understand why she loved me so much.

There is a saying "you reap what you sow". In slang terms it is "what goes around, comes around". It may be coming around.

Well, I guess we're in line with a bunch of other professions to be partially phased out by AI. I expect with the high cost of a college degree, more universities and colleges will sell classes online to thousands of ppl at the same time who couldn't all fit into a physical classroom, and colleges will be paid well for that innovation, and instructors will teach many more people at a reduced per capita rate, perhaps making education more affordable. So any knowledge, intelligence, data product is AI-able. The physical jobs that many ppl shunned will likely be around for the foreseeable future, like mechanics, painters & drywallers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters. I would say cooks too, but I heard about a McDonalds in Australia with no human working there; everything is electronic & automated. Mmmmm... that sounds delicious! not.
The light has been turned on. Now go figure out what your next journey in life is going to be. Nobody's falling on a Sword for appraisers. I was told that in 1984 by
a wise old appraser- broker and never forgot it.

Therefore nothing today is unexpected and technology has finally caught up to the appraisal world. We made it longer than most other professions and so we can celebrate a good long run. The Ship has Sailed.

Sir, I am not a lawyer. Speak to your Governor and Morgan and Morgan if you need legal advice.

you probably have a personal lawyer Glenn. Might want to consult with your personal lawyer Mr. Glenn.:)

I can't get any takers anymore. Please call Joan and ask her to let me back in her parade.

She is very pretty and skin deep.
